I do that occasionally. When I do, I use the "report post" button (honestly!) and explain that I thought I was editing the photo description. Within hours, it's gone. SC seems sympathetic to this situation, I suspect it's little effort on their part to take care of it. |

I feel that S C has plenty to do without me bothering them about it, but thank you for your suggestion. I just do the math to see if I have missed any comments. It's pretty easy to subtract 3 LOL.

I do the same thing except when the comment is something like "Hmmmm" or "=]" or "." or "Interesting, what is it?" etc. If they ask a question, I usually answer it in a PM, but don't mark the question helpful. |

I have to amend what Matt has stated by also including that single words like Nice, and Cool are really not helpful.
Statements like, "This sucks", and "What were you thinking" are really not helpful.
A true critique, one that is focused on the image, the thought, and the details is truly a good critique.
Being helpful??? Egos abound.
Helping to be better at a craft that is highly subjective? Priceless.

Indeed. But, please remember (not to you, necessarily, horse, but to others reading), it is "comment" box, not a critique box.
So, while "nice" or "this sucks" may not be a "critique," if I get it on one of my pictures, it can be helpful. It means that I have done something that caught the viewer's attention, but not enough to compel them to write more. |

And may I add, even a photographic genius is still bound by subjective over views no matter a comment or a critique.
