Anyone else tried this? I just ran through all four of my lenses, using these instructions. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I feared - the whole thing took about an hour and went pretty easily.
Test pattern for wide - standard range lenses.
Test pattern for telephoto lenses.
None of my lenses required much adjustment - just wondering what everyone else is finding for theirs?
My microadjustments:
Canon 28-135: no adjustment
Tamron 28-75: -1
Tokina 10-17: +3
Sigma 70-200: -1
Sigma 70-200 w/ 2x teleconverter (140-400): +1

Note - it's a new feature of the 50D and 5D Mark II. The article cited is specifically about the 50D, though it perhaps may be the same for the 5D II. |

The feature first came out on the 1D Mark III cameras, is on the 50D and will also be on the 5D Mk II. The process should be the same (basically) for any camera of any brand - just the menu options may be a bit different.

Nice to see you post here - hopefully you stick around for some of the other things DPC has to offer :-)
Your guide was very helpful, thanks for posting it! The whole process was much easier to get through with some good instructions - trying to figure it out on my own would have taken far too long.
