I can't decide... I like 'em both! :)
There wasn't enough light to hand hold the camera. What to do? What to do? I know ... purposely introduce movement into the image, make it look artistic. (done by zooming the lens while firing the shutter)

I like 'em both too, but I think I like centered more. Offset seems just a little too close to the bottom edge and somehow makes me uncomfortable, like I, personally, am being crowded. (Yes, I'm weird.) |

Centered, for sure, because the offset image doesn't pull me in as much. |

Offset. It's more dynamic. Maybe sharpen the red leaf a touch more.

Was that off-centre zoom blur done in camera? If so, that's very good going.

put me down for centered. It's better. And if you don't agree, you're worse than Hitler. ;-) |

I wanted to say offset just so that I could be worse than Hitler for a day, but I'll have to go with centered as well. :-) |

WHAT'S WRONG with you people! Centered totally violates the rule of thirds!!!
(oops, did I say that out loud?)
Yeah, see I totally wanted to like the off center one (because of rule of thirds) and ignore the centered one (because centered images usually don't work). But I kept going back to the centered one thinking I liked it better. I'm glad to see I wasn't alone.

My liking of offcentre has nothing to do with the rule of thirds.
The centered one just feels static, despite the zoom lines.

I think the eye likez the surrounding leading lines on all sides. That's just me though. |

The main subject leaf could be a little shaper.
I had to look twice, but maybe the centered is more at ease. |
