:) I am looking for information (videos, web sites) on posing clients of all ages. My partner and I do our best with common sense but we would really be interested in delving in to the art of posing, as well as learning some tips on interacting with them to make them feel comfortable. We both have a hint of shyness to us, me more than her... and she won't always be there.
Thanks! |

have you checked the images here for examples? I know you're looking for more of how-to but just looking here at DPC has given me many ideas. My wife just usually surfs the web for photographers and looks at their samples for ideas. I did recently come across a page somewhere that showed the difference in poses for men and women, I'll try and find it again but I think it was a printed thing.
as for making everyone comfortable I'll say it before Art does...get naked, that way there are no barriers. ;) kidding of course.

LOL, you know the funny thing is that after I wrote the OP I wondered to myself how long it would take Art to reply in such a fashion. You beat him to it in record time though.
As for the posing. I guess I was hoping for some miracle Posing for Dummies handbook. Sitting in with someone a few times would be perfect, but unfortunately (fortunate for business) there are very few photogs around here.

Here is a posing guide that Leo Koach ( FocusPoint) was kind enough to post to his website.
