I just started working for a company called iMemories last week, and today we were written up by the AP. We convert old photos, negatives, slides, tapes, 8mm reels, and any other analog format and digitize them. I work with the photos, scanning and processing. I think this is a really cool idea and the fact that we had a national reporter in today for this is exciting. Here are the links if you would like.....

The photos.. (I'm in one!!!)

So for anyone who has old home video that is looking poor, here is your answer. We clean the reel to reel film, and retouch and color correct all photos and videos. This is a really cool Idea!!!

Congrats on your newfound fame! I'm glad to hear about your company - I have a box of 8mm in the closet... it's of me and my sister as toddlers. Nice to know someone works on this type of stuff! Good luck in your new job.
