In Adobe's CameraRAW I can have the histogram show me blown highlights and too dark shadows - is there a way to set the histogram in Lightroom to do the same?

Yes.

Mouse over the triangles in the upper left and right corners and the areas will be highlighted in the image.

... if you right click on the triangle a menu pops up and you can select to show the clipping all the time, not just on mouse over.

OK, now that we've determined there is a way, how do I do it? :-)

See, that's what I figured - on both counts. But I don't have any little triangles in the histogram to mouse over...

Ah! Never mind - they're there, but only in the develop mode. I was trying to find them in the library mode. Silly me.

Right click in the histogram and then select all the clipping options you want.

Yes. Only in develop mode.
