I just got my 50D and Bridge/PSCS3 didn't recognize the RAW files. Did a quick search on the Net, and Adobe has in fact released the update that corrects this, although in some cases (like mine) it won't download automatically through the Adobe Update feature.

This link takes you to the update page at Adobe and lists all the cameras the update covers. Be sure to view the readme file (there's a link between the main page and the actual update download page), as it gives specific instructions on where to manually place the file after you download it.

Took 5 minutes and works like a charm - I'm now editing my first 50D RAW files.
