I few people commented on my Pajamas entry (where I stuffed my pajamas) that they looked quite real.
I thought I'd explain how I did it. I just got into my PJs and lay down on the bed the way I might if I was trying to sleep, and took a photo (see below - I can't believe I'm posting this).
I then went to work with lots of towels (and a pillow for the body) and the photo as a reference until it looked close to right. I still wasn't happy with the limbs in the end, but I think the main issue with the image for voters was the lighting - I STILL can't do it, and I continue to struggle!
Glad I gave some people a smile.

Brilliant. A great photo... reminded me of those Invisible Man movie scenes quizzes that were all the rage in inboxes a few years back. Congratulations on your top 20 finish. :)

Such a unique take to the challenge. That really should have finished much higher and probably would have if it had that pristine studio like quality to it.

That "pristine studio-like quality" - still working on that one :)
I guess the most important thing I have learned over the past few months is that quality of light and correct exposure is everything. I used to think that my photos were not really sharp because I couldn't afford professional lenses. Now I realise that I have everything I need, I just need to learn to use what I have better.
