Hi,
I've noticed today that since the last time I've used my camera, a menu is missing in the set up mode. This menu is called "LCD backlight". This menu as completely dissappear and only "LCD brightness" is selectable.

It seems weird, and when I take a look at the set up menu of my camera, I still cant believe my eyes.

I dont understand. Thus, I've never performed a firmware upgrade on my camera.

I've contacted Sony support, but I havent receive any answer yet.

If it has already happen to someone, and you've found a solution, please contact me.

Edit: forgot to say that the menu "Power save" had already disappear.

Thanks.

Is there a re-set option on the Sony? If so, take a note of your settings, and then activate that. Won't do any harm.

Thank you for the link armsmyth. To answer e301, I've reseted my camera, but it's still the same. I've phoned Sony support in France, and they adviced to sent the camera back to the factory.

So I'm going to send my camera for repair (again).
