I have a Canon 10D and print everything on my Epson 2200 which allows me to print 13 by 44. I usually use Super B paper which is 13 x 19. I would like some bigger prints of a few of my photos so I want to take them some place to be done. Does anyone have any suggestions of who/what to use and what do you think is the biggest size photo I will be able to acquire. The Canon is 6.3 megapixels. |

Doesn't DPC prints offer up to 20x30?
Otherwise, you're looking for large-format inkjets, and then you should shop locally. |

If you want to go bigger than the 20x30 offered on DPC Prints, I know you can get at least 36x54 (my local shop offers this). With the 10D you should be able to go to 20x30 with no problem if you have a very sharp original and resample carefully for the native resolution of the output device.
The local shop I referred to is //www.allieddigitalphoto.com/index.htm

thanks -- I didn't realize that DPC Prints would make a print that isn't one that they have posted. I'll try that. I would like a 20 x 30. |

Sonny, if you do give allied Digital Photo a try, please let me know how they do for you. I've had a fair amount of prints made by them and they have done a great job for me. Of course they are a natural choice for me, being 10 minutes from my house...

I spent a bunch of money a couple of months ago at shutterfly during a sale. I got two 20x30's and a bunch of 16x20s and 11x14's. All came out stunningly well. Same process as DPCprints (Fuji), but there's no need to interpolate it yourself to make it large, which is a big advantage and time saver. And I only have a 4 Mpixel camera. I enlarged my sunset bow, at camera resolution to 20x30, and it came out fantastic. When I put it up on DPCprints, they only would let me sell an 8x10 without interpolating it!
