I have a Nikon D80 and wanted to purchase some more filters to help improve you picture taking. I came across Ritz Camrea website which has a sale on Quantaray filters, if you buy 3 filters you will get 33% savings. I thought this was a great deal and wanted to pass this information on to other photographers, if interested. I am providing the link to the Nikon section of the filters that has this savings.

Have you ever seen or used Quantaray filters or lens? Even at 90% savings I wouldnt put one of them in front of my lens. I stopped in a Wolf camera while on vacation because I broke a B&W Polarizer, lets just say I was less then impressed with anything I put on my lens. They changed colors killed contrast.........just remember with filters you really do get what you pay for.

I buy the "Quantaray by Cokin" filters for my Cokin system. They're through Ritz, and frankly, they're just the same as the plain old Cokin brand ones.
Not saying all of them are good, but it's a bit dismissive to discount them all.

I have purchase a couple and I found them to work just fine but then I am just an ammeture in photography. In fact one of my picts broke into the 5's using these filters. So I think it may have improved my photos. |
