Do you have it hooked up to a car battery LOL

Both my Sony point and shoots take obscene amounts before the battery runs out (and that's with a 3.5" touch screen too).

At what resolution? Try it with RAW and let us know how many shots you get. I get 500 RAW exposures from a charge.

I think I can shoot 10,000 480x640 shots with one charge but I never tried it. :]

I've shot many sporting events with the Canon 20D with the vertical grip (which holds two batteries at a time). It's not uncommon for me to have to change batteries during an all day event, going through four batteries for the day.

When I bought the 1D Mark III, I took one look at the price of a spare battery and about fainted. I didn't buy it, telling myself I would get one later. That was a year and a half ago. I have _NEVER_ needed that spare battery. I have shot all-day-long with the 1D Mark III and have *never* run the battery down.

It's not pink, and it doesn't say Energizer on it, but this battery just keeps going and going.

Impressive. Are they lithium batteries or nuclear? lol

They're Lithium Ion batts. At 116 bucks, they are expensive but worth it in my book. I wonder how much no name brands would cost?

I'm sure you meant to say 'nucular'.

If it's a 5d mk2, doesn't that make it a 10D?
