Is the S85 the only camera that lens fogs up when on for an extended period of time?

Never happened to my camera.

Probably happens when you are take your camera from a cold location into a warm location. Also can happen when you go from a hot place to a cold place.

This happens if you wear glasses.

I guess that would explain most of the occurrences, but the lastest one happened when I left it on to drain battery.

Not sure about your camera battery, but I know mines get really hot when I take a lot of pictures and the battery is totally drained.

It could be that the camera is hotter then the ambient temperature.Humidity would effect the camera too. If there's a lot of moisture in the air.

If you cook anything and your windows get fogged up then there's a chance that your camera lens may also.

If you keep the camera in a camera bag it may stay at a constant temperature and it may help a little.

Maybe it is from the camera battery.

Thanks.
