Hey guys, I just picked up a Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 prime to give myself a little wideangle. So far I've been really enjoying it, but I've got a question for those who may have more experience with it than I.

Because of my budget (translation: I'm broke) I have to result to other methods of macrophotography, so I use a Nikkor PK-13 extension tube and a Nikon BR-2 lens reversing ring. Usually for my macro stuff I use my 50mm f/1.8 and the tube or ring or both, but I found that using the 24mm with the reversing ring lets me get even closer than with the 50mm and both the attachments. If I resort to using the 24mm for very closeup macro work, will I regret it? Is the distortion going to be much more visible, is the sharpness going to compare, that sorta thing? So far the only test shots I've got are some soap bubbles in a plastic dishsoap container, which probably isn't doing anything for either distortion or sharpness.
