I have such eclectic taste in music.
My favourites can change quite quickly. I was thinking it would be interesting to know what the top 5 tunes your listening to at the moment.
Maybe you can influence my listening pattern - SMILE!
Mine today are (in no particular order)
1. The Sermon - Tony Johannsen
2. Bye Bye Baby - Bay City Rollers
3. Fix You - Cold Play Also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this version!
4. Across the Universe - Fiona Apple
5. The Drugs Don't Work - The Verve

Personally, I've had "In a Big Country" by Big Country, running through my head all evening long.
One of my other top, stick in my head songs, is "I'm gonna be (500 miles)" by the Proclaimers.
Either one, is bound to make me smile.
Another, even older, is "Music Box Dancer" by Frank Mills.
Or, in a completely different direction, "Grillz" by Nelly |

The theme song from "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea", the latest animated feature from Ghibli Studios, which you may not have heard about yet. I can amuse kids no end by singing it badly and getting the words wrong (in Japanese, of course).
I have a lot of bits and pieces of Beethoven Symphonies going around my head as I usually listen to them on my commute.
As for the ones already mentioned, I really only know the Bay City Rollers song, and Across the Universe, if that's a cover version of The Beatles. That must age me, somewhat. ;-Þ
added: Oh, it is a cover version. Nice voice, not sure about the violence in the video clip...
Hey, another addition: I also watched the Rufus Wainwright version. Very good. First time I've really heard/seen him, though I've got two or three of his Dad's CDs. ;-Þ

This song was written and preformed by Gordon Mote. He is a gospel piano player. One of the most touching love songs I have heard in a long time. He wrote this song and preformed it on stage for his wife; BTW he is blind.
