Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di for Canon

Hello, I'm from NY. I use to shoot when I was in college. 10 yrs later I've decided to pick it up again. I'm getting married and my future wife decided to buy me an early wedding gift. So she bought me an eos 40d. love the camera. looking to do some macro and long shots soon, still working with the kit lens 28-135mm IS usm. Not a bad lens. It has its limitations although.
