| The end of his special simply sucked. If anyone watched the "dive of death", you'll know what I mean. What a waste of time! |

I'm west coast, he's still wowing people with his street tricks while they tease the Dive of Death. I'll go straight to my book if the Dive isn't worth waiting on!
I googled "David Blaine genius or fool" and all i got was that silly Ken Rockwell thread. :P |

LOL, that was rubbish and he didn`t even stay upside down for more than an hour. He was having drink and toilet breaks.
He`s done some good stunts but this was the worst. |

| I didn't watch the show lastnight but I seen the ending played on TV this morning then listened to the rants about how lame it was. I agree with the rants, What a waste of time and money. |

The wife and I watched the "Dive of Death" part, which only seemed to be him being lowered on a cable, and then lifted away out of sight of the camera.
We both looked at each other and simultaneously said, "That was stupid." |

This reminds me of the "Falling Man" thread from before about the 9-11 twin towers jumper image.
This was also in NYC â€Â¦ kind of a creepy thing to do anyway.
I know it was 7 years ago ... but it seems a little too close for comfort. Or am I reaching? |

Blain is not even a good illusionist. Most of his tricks are extremly set up.
False skin for pulling crap out of....
Contact on inside of coffee shop to stick the "correct" card to the inside of the window.
And what is this walking on water BS? He's obviously walking on a plexiglass "runway" or some other "invisible" plank....
Members of the audience are also "plants". (not green plants but "set-ups") |
