True story. Last fall my receptionist won $250,000 in Powerball. Had all the numbers but the powerball number. Freaky.
Usually I'll stand by the idea that Lotteries are simply a tax on people who are bad at math. |

LOL. I remember a professor spending part of a statistics class on that. The bastard ruined lotteries for me, but probably saved me tens of dollars.

Actually they are a voluntary tax on those who haven't given up hope. :)
Don't like the tax? You can stop paying it anytime you like. All taxes should work that way! |

| My mother won $150,000 on a $5 scratch off ticket a couple years ago. She was able to pay off her house and pay cash for a new car. Her best friends husband won the $5000/week for life ticket. He gets $60,000 every three months for the rest of his life! I play when I have a few bucks laying around. LOL! |
