I am looking for some sites that have cool new technology like robots and computers that think ect. for my class to look at. I am trying to get them all jazzed about computers. If you know of any and care to share that would be great. Anything really that might make them ooh and ahh. Videos and that sort of thing work really well with the 6th graders.

Here is the ones I found today so far.

I am just starting to get a blog site set up that they can go to if they are looking for some cool things on the net. So there really isn't much on the site yet except for those few links. I figured there were about 300 tech heads on this site that probably have seen or use something cool and want to share.

There was this one site that is all about how Hollywood does the computer effects that I cannot find. They had a huge special back in the day about Pirates, but I have since not been able to find it. If you work in Hollywood and know of the site that would rock as well.

Try Microsoft's ( fairly new ) Photosynth. Google "Microsoft Photosynth" for the LiveLab website ( requires software install to run ). View a YouTube intro here
