Canon Photo Workshop: 'Capture Catalina'

I know it's short notice, but a friend just gave me this info...

If you're in Southern California and have a free day this weekend, this sounds like a good workshop at a very reasonable cost. Six different workshops over the course of the day on Catalina Island, with lunch, round trip transportation and even a T-shirt provided for a cost of $100.

Looks like a lot of fun and a good deal to boot, but it says "Event sold out." I'm too late, although my weekend schedule is crazy so I probably couldn't have gone anyways. I've never been to Catalina even though I've lived my whole life in LA. One of these days. Thanks though.
