I found this today.....
//orthodontist.cialis-blog.us/1367/penrod-studios-on-location/
its a blog entry that uses my video... but a not so savory site. I can't for the life of me find WHO needs to be asked to remove it. Any of you web-gurus able to help? I wish bloggers would use their own content. :(

whois
I suspect they merely post content from a wide range of popular sites to bring people to the ads, much like those that list 6 million keywords so they'll come up on pretty much any search.
Russian, and with a server named NS1.ADULT-TDS.COM
Doesn't sound like they're going to care much that you don't wanna be there :(

Suggestion: Remove the source video on YouTube and then reupload it. They might still re-embed the new one eventually though. |

Good idea, Ken. I'll try that.

Better yet, if you can do it and keep the same url, edit/replace it with something that they truly don't want on their ad. : )
eta, I just had a look at it, and guess that they wouldn't care what you put there. Ken's idea is probably best.

It looks like a script-generated site around a given topic (orthodontics and smiling???) for the sole purpose of snagging random people searching for said topic, and getting them to click their lame paid links. In other words, it's pretty random crap. I wouldn't worry about it because I don't think anybody actually visits sites like these.
Ken's suggestion should work, though indeed they might pick it up again.
How in the world did you find it? Does YouTube show what sites link your videos? |

I have google alerts, they found it for me. I agree that its probably harmless in the big world; but I just don't like my work being shown on a site like that. :/
I'm running another software on main puter now, when I'm finished I'll try re-uploading the vid to see it if knocks the link out. Weird that they'd choose THAT for a site that advertises porn! lol
Waddy, I like the way you think! ;)

Cindi, just change the setting on the video so it can't be embedded. Go to "edit" and it's a setting far toward the bottom.
For example, no one can embed my lava boat tour video.
