No. Not f4. f6.3 @ 500mm (or equiv 750 on 1.5 crop sensor). The 1.4x TC that the OP mentions would take it out further but also lose another (1-1.5 stop?) at least on f-stop. |

ahh yes, hadn't noticed that little detail. The E3 has a 2x crop sensor so I would be at 1000mm @F6.3. Now if I get the Oly 2X TC I 'll be at 2000mm @ F12.6. woah. |

THANKS TO EVERYONE!
I have decided on the Bigma. I will learn to use it. I just can't get over  Alain's bird shots. I think this is the lens for me. Now... I need help finding one! I have never bought a used lens, but I would consider it.. I'm gonna add a WTB to the buy/sell section. If anyone knows a good site, some discounts, etc.. please let me know.. and again, THANKS!
