Hi... Quick question... I'm making up a series of old pics... I want to know which one everyone prefers... Because I am stumped...
Here are the two layouts... is it better like a film strip? or is the second partial picture too distracting?
(This is an out-take from the doors challenge with a pic I just took of a 120 negative from my old camera)
.
.
.
Just thought I'd get some opinions before I go and make a whole bounch more like this...
Thanks in advance! =)
..
On a Side note... is doing something like this allowed under advanced editing?... I don't think so, but thought i'd ask... |

The second one is fine. The first one looks goofy.

Second one works best for me. The blank space around the first is distracting, and unless you are familiar with negatives, it might not be self evident as to what the viewer is looking at. If there were more than one frame in your image, (ie. two or three) then the message would come across more quickly. As is it looks like the partial second frame is really part of the first, cut off for no good reason and then moved over a bit. You have to stop and look at the text on the negative to see what is going on. |

Thanks, I agree... I think I'll try one with 3 images (where all of the images are shown in their entirety... not cut off)
But I do like the second one better...
Thanks for the suggestions everyone =) |
