I was looking at a poster in the school library today. It's published by one of the Japanese newspapers. You may have seen the news featured in your own local paper.
Scene: Large field of ice in Greenland, specifically a crevice.
Scientists (evidently from NASA), are dropping rubber duckies (and measuring instruments of some kind) into the crevice in order to study where the melt water from the ice flows to. |
