I woke up this morning and turned on my camera and saw that the EVF and LCD were both distorted. The bottom half was pink and upper half seemed normal but slightly off color. Pictures come out with a dark, soft line through the middle. Anyone had this problem?

I had my camera mounted on small table top tri-pod and I thought it looked nice on my coffee table so I left it on there for about a day and ahalf. I'm wondering if the weight of the lense was too much and maybe put some pressure on some sensitive parts within the lense and damaged it. Anyone think this is possible?

I didn't have time to post any samples of the problem because I had to go to work.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Never heard of this problem before, you might want to try the Sony Talk Forum on dpreview.com for more info.

I don't think your tripod can be the cause. It is a sturdy camera house.

I don't think so. It was just in my living room at a dry 70 degrees.
