I'd be willing to do Sept 28th if that works for everyone else. Going that far into October means cold. And cold means bad.

LOL You should have been along when we shot the eagles, I am sure October would be a bit brisk but nothing we couldn't handle. Especially someone from Minnesota?

28th works for me and I agree with Sameer, Sept is better than Oct. |

Ok sorry to throw a wrench into this, but I can't make the 28th. I have tickets to the Brewers-Cubs season ender. Can't miss that one! What other days did we have in the works? Guess we'll have to dig into October... :(

Re: Cubs-Brewers, especially they're in a pretty tight race and either could end up helping to knock the other out of the playoffs by that point!
October is wide open for me except for the weekend of the 11th/12th. |

I'd prefer to do a Milwaukee GTG. Let the FIBS organize their own.
("Friendly Illinois Brothers and Sisters" for the uninitiated). |

Chicago, reminds me. I have aprox 500 shots from a trip down there 2 weeks ago, I have picked out about 50 of them to process and add to my portfolio. |

Well if the Brewers do end up in the playoffs, I already have tickets through the world series. :)

I thought it stood for something different...
The weekend of October 3rd is the only one I can't make. If we can't find out a time before it's really cold out, go ahead and go without me. I'll catch up in the springtime.

I think the last date mentioned was the 28th, and I'm good with that. |

Only Ten Days to go for the 28th. I have about 6-7 hours I can kill that day. Providing we do the Sunrise. Before Breakfast. Just an Idea to toss around. Anyone interested in meeting in Port Washington for the Sunrise then making way over towards Milwaukee along the Lakefront? There are a few nice places along the way that we could stop and grab some photos and I am positive there is a good breafast nook somewhere along that route also. I think travel time would be about the same for John either way, Ed and Fritz are just down the road so it would be pretty easy for Fritz to make it on time for a change and not get lost along the way, haha! I also think Port would provide a better sunset, What do you think?

Thats too bad Colin, Was looking forward to meeting up with you again. Also now I am certain to be the only one there with a real camera. lol
Has anyone decided on a place to meet as well as a time. I plan to get up and moving very early that morning, I will however be leaving shortly after breakfast because I have return for a Packer Party.
If we meet in Port Washington, I sugguest we meet by the Docks there is a glass etching there under a little shelter. Very easy to find and at that hour parking will be o-plenty.

Sunrise is at 6:44 on the 28th.
Have we decided on the location? John wanted the Art Museum and Brian suggested Port Washington. I don't really care which location so hopefully someone will make the call SOON.
I will be at either place(when it gets decided) at about 6:00am.
If we go to the Art Museum, I would suggest meeting at the foot bridge that goes to the museum at the end of Wisconsin Ave.
Anyone else? |
