I've had my C-750 for about a month and a half, and discovered today that I have one pixel that appears to be "hot". I took a photo with the lens cap on to verify. It won't get in the way that much, I suppose, and I know I can cover it over, but I'm wondering if I should go ahead and use pixel mapping, or should I leave it be unless/until I have a bigger problem? |

Since the camera can do this itself (I assume this is in the menus somewhere), I'd go ahead and perform the mapping. Sure enough the darn hot pixel will show itself in a photo you want to submit for a challenge if you don't... at least that's what Murphy tells me!

Thanks kirbic - Olympus replied same thing this morning. I just wasn't sure I fully understood how this worked, so I wanted to be sure!
