Question, If I belong to a group, A team, Can I show my photo to them before the challenge to get there opinion on my entry?

Yes, people here do it all the time.

It's done very often but the important thing is then for nobody to vote on your entry that has seen it. They can merely skip the picture if voting the challenge.

You seem to be suggesting that those persons that have viewed the photo can no longer be impartial, and I can't agree with this position.

There are on this site several individuals on this site that have a distinctive quality in their images, rendering them readily discernable. Whether I am right or not in my supposition, I have never experienced any problems in doling out what I consider a fair vote.

I think I will just keep picking the wrong photo for my entry all by myself.

Bottom line is if they vote "fairly" on your photo there is not a problem, but if your teammates' votes on your photo are "out of line" you'll all be in trouble. If they skip voting on your photo altogether there's no issue. In "official DPC team competitions" (DPL -- currently "on hold") site code was added to actually block any intra-team voting.

ray, you may be an exceptionally objective person, but I think it's human nature to favor our friends, however slightly. DPL recognized this and prevented people people from voting on their teammates photos.
