I survived Gustov....now it looks like IKE wants to get in the gulf in a week or so.
Ike....get away from me...go north...go north. |

| I am still wishing Gustav would go away! We are getting hammered with rain and winds here in Arkansas. Actually our neighbor just had a tree smash in their house, Its raining so hard, I dont wanna take my camera out to take pictures either... I could wrap it in a bag though |

Gus is just south of us, here in the Missouri boot heel. Looks like we may get a little taste tomorrow or Friday.
Looking at the radar, it may even slide just west of us, here in Poplar Bluff. We tend to be lucky that way. Lots of stuff goes around us. Our biggest tree is right next to the house, so wouldn't mind another near miss. |

| i live in montana, you can send it our way. maybe it will fend off winter a few more months :/ |

I was so ready to get back to the South! We lived in Bozeman for a year, and I never felt so out of my element in my life! It snowed June 4th while we were there. that is just WRONG! |

lol the latest snow we got this year was the 10th of june. i worked at a tree nursery for awhile and we lost so many trees due to the snow. even at my house we lost trees. we all may hate the weather sometimes, but id never be able to leave this place |

Be safe everyone and please don't take any chances with your lives by trying to get photos, I would much prefer that we read that everyone survived the storm, NOT that they found images of the storm on a dead persons camera who was out trying to get photos.
PLEASE EVERYONE AFFECTED BY GUS (and soon IKE) KEEP SAFE.
I'm sending all of you good thoughts and I hope all remain safe with as little or no damage.
