I'm about to go DSLR (finally) and my budget allows me to take in cosideration the Canon 400D or 1000D. Which body do you think it's worth it? I studied both of them and the cons of the 1000D vs. the 400D would be 7AF points and 1.5 fps in RAW.
Oh, and the 1000D comes with the Canon EF-s 18-55mm IS...

Help me decide.

Nope, it was borrowed from a friend for the "Mug Shot" challenge along with the 50mm f1.8. I've added the camera so I can put it in the photo details.

To be honest I really don't know whether the 1000D, 400D, or 450D is the better camera. You might even be able to pick up a cheaper 40D now with the release of the 50D . .

It would be nice but it's out of my money range for the moment, :) so I'll have to stick with one of these two.

400D. I think you'd find it more flexible and more useful than the 1000D.
