Eww, spiders! DaddyLonglegs are OK but everything else with 8 legs just grosses me out. And being deadly allergic to spider venom is another reason why I don't like em much.

I'm in for over-exposed with a shot that I feel fairly confident will get spanked hard.

But I like it......8>)

I'm searching the files for my August Free-for-All......I have some great stuff to pick from, so I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm dropping off the forms at the local newspaper.......they're taking me on as a stringer. That'll push me to learn better how to shoot under adverse conditions, with high expectations, for little or no money.

Why, it'll be just like shooting for challenges! LOL!!!

Gearing up for my sidewalk show on Sat. the 13th, and I have a local businessman's realtor/investor breakfast to go to next Thursday to promote my business. A local commercial realty company picked up this image to use for the header on their listings flyers.]

It's strange......I'm not sure if I want to get into the live on-demand stuff, or just stick with the "Fine Art" framed-and-displayed-in-a-gallery thing.

I had a comment that started out with an apology also.
I can understand a low score, and actually appreciate many of the comments ( Helpful ones not smart a** ones )But IMO nobody should feel the need to apologize for the scores they give.
Am I alone with this opinion?

I think that's up to the commenter - if they feel they want to apologize, that's their choice. I wouldn't sweat it either way.

Me and my 4.88 average have survived to round something of the Better than Average Side Tourney.
For at least the last two rounds I've found myself deliberately homing in on the sort of picture that will keep the customer satisfied. Overexposed was a bit of a mean thing to spring on me, as it's potentially exciting, ergo I might get ideas. Pride may come before a fall, but when I get ideas, trouble backs out of the room and calls in backup.
Ah well, it's only got to get 5...

Brian, no relation what so ever to me, as Quigley is just a name I use for this site.

Quigley was our Australian shepherd and he had passed away just before I started here on DPC, so I used his name to keep his memory alive for me. He was a pure bred Australia shepherd and his registered name when we bought him was "Elmden's' Quigley Down under" He was a stellar looking animal and I'll see if I can find some shots of him to post. I lost 1000's of photos when our little dog Louise

peed on the tower of our last computer causing it to fry. We managed to retrieve some of the data on the old hard drive but not everything.

Just entered Double Take and about to enter Dolls. And bought my first ever woody...he needs a little bit of sanding to remove some paint, but otherwise he'll do just fine :-)

I've entered Double Take (you guys are gonna love it) and will probably enter Dolls here shortly. Normal or not so normal on that one? Still deciding. Working on something for FS - haven't a lot of DPC friendly nor even Deb-inspired choices this month, but I'll get something in there.

I'm also in Double Take with a shot that I think will get hammered, but I find alot of humor in. And I'm in FS with one of the last shots I took with the Rebel (and that I probably processed half to death).

I just entered Free study (someone tell me things will be OK for me in this challenge) I must be a sucker for punishment. My B&W abstract is getting the crap knocked out of it right now, 4.4132, and now I've gone and entered another free study. I must be crazy. I'm in the free study marathon challenge and must solider on I guess or get a zero. Oh well, wish me luck.

I've got to pick from two for the FS.....one I like, and one I think will score better than the one I like.

So,the workshop 'folio. How d'ya work that?

Can you upload images to it and just e-mail someone the link in the event of a choice situation?

Anybody wanna give me an opinion? Now I have three.....two are similar.

I am in for FS, I like it but i think it will score about a 5. I just havn't taken anything good this month.
I am taking my daughter up to Chicago for Grad School so maybe i can find some interesting shots up there this week.
