Yeah, he actually INVADED another country and conquered it. The only time the US has done that. Go Abe!

Hmm... gotta write that one down. "HawkeyeLonewolf (scribble, scribble) criticizing Obama (scribble) for failing to leave Christian Church (scribble, scribble) because it was preaching hate." Now I just need a mat and a nice frame. ;-)

*****.

Didn't say anything of the sort. Wright's church is not Christian at all. If you had the intellect to read a bible you would know that.

*SIGH* As usual, you bring nothing of value to a conversation.

UM ??? It ain't Jewish... and it ain't Druid...and it ain't Hindu ... what is it ???

Same old blah blah from Brak Hussein Osama.

Free health care for all (SOCIALISM)

No successes of his own in that little red blue book. Just "Obama piggybacked on someone elses work". Otherwise he couldn't be bothered. And did anything pass? Or just get proposed?

Obama = Empty Suit, Empty Mind, Empty Character.

YAWN!

It's a front for black social change in the guise a Christian church. Christ was not about social change. He was about people changing their hearts.

Opps...my post vanished...must be a sign from God.

I bet you haven't even read the whole plan if any of it. People such as yourself do no favors for the McCain ticket. Obviously your mind is made up so why not let others make up theirs.

The part where you personally define what constitutes a Christian. Church leaders FAR more versed in the Bible than yourself obviously disagree.

I am going to resist my overwhelming urge to go into a diatribe here ... but
You insult EVERY Black member of the Christian faith that has gathered together since campfires were held on the plantations of the south... EVERY Black church that I have gone to from country churches in Eldorado Virginia to Mega chuches in LA preach social change to some degree. Your statement shows a fundamental lack of understanding of the position of the church in the Black community

Your radical disreguard for the religious convictions of other AMERICANS serves only to discredit you.

Calling yourself a church leader now? I doubt it.

And no, believers in Christ who study His word understand what a Christian is.

I did not make any comment about all blacks, you falsely extrapolated that yourself.

I made a comment about one church that teaches hate.

Easy extrapolation to make ... if it teaches social change then it is a "front" and "Christ was not about social change" therefore it cannot be Christian ...

Your twisted logic ... not mine ... my statement stands

And still stands as incorrect. Christ clearly was NOT about social change. or Hate. And Wright's church is all about hate.

No, that would be the people running the 5,518 local congregations of the United Church of Christ, of which this particular church is the largest. The UCC is affiliated with 7 seminaries and 18 colleges, and has a relationship of full communion with numerous other denominations. These people and organizations all recognize the church as Christian, yet you have the audacity to say, "Wright's church is not Christian at all. If you had the intellect to read a bible you would know that." So all these members, pastors, seminary students and affiliated churches combined lack the intellectual capacity to read the Bible as well as you? What an spectacularly egotistical display of bias and hatred!

Oh, NOW I remember... you're the guy who claimed Catholics aren't Christians either. I'm sure the Obama campaign would love to have someone declaring to Americans who's "really" Christian while campaigning for McCain. With the combined clout of all the people who meet your personal definition of "true" Christians, you might win the governorship of Alaska. :-/
