Can I bring my camera to the US Open?

I'm going to the U.S. Open tennis tournament tomorrow in New York and I really want to bring my camera to get some nice action shots.. I can't find any info on the U.S. Open site regarding wether or not cameras are permitted. Does anyone have experiance with this venue? Please share asap:o)

I've never been to the US open but I saw plenty of point and shoot cameras firing away during Roddick's match earlier on tv.

Try calling the venue, as they are the ones that usually restrict cameras.

how would the justify whether a camera is for commercial use or personal use knowing that SLRs are more and more popular these days?
