I am not very good at PP. Any help would be appreciated.
Originally I used a gradient to even out the sky but it looked too fake so I selected the sky and used Gaussian Blur to get rid of noise and banding.
I want the Joshua Tree to stand out more and I think the overall image is a bit muddy but I don't know how to fix it.
Thanks!! |

Coming from you that is quite a compliment. Thank you! I just want to get better at landscapes. |

I like it as well but if you want to DPC pimp it, I left you a comment on the photo for a couple of PP things to try.

Did you merge your HDR layers before you tried applying the Shadow/midtone/highlights? Merge them, then make a duplicate layer to experiment on.

This looks like a great photo. Perfect image to HDR.
Maybe boost up the shadows to add more depth.

Open your photo in Camera Raw. Crank up the Clarity to 100% and crank up the Vibrance to +62. Then in Photoshop, Go to Filter>Sharpen>Unsharp Mask. Use these settings: Amount 20%-60 pixels-Threshold 0. How do you like it? |
