Hi All- I searched the forums to see if this has been addressed before, and didn't find anything. So if I didn't search for the right thing and this *has* been covered, I apologize!

When you look at the list of threads in the forums, what do the different colored folders next to the subject titles mean?

Andi, I think it's just to identify the active forums and threads for the day.

Bummer. I was hoping it was showing me which forums/threads have new messages since the last time I viewed them!

You're welcome, Andi. Since I'm here every day I just use the 'Community' link right on the top menu. Then you'll get a list of all active threads for the day in order from newest to oldest. That's how I keep track so I don't miss anything.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's close. I think its folders which have had activity since the last time you logged in. Though, I'm not totally sure what the criteria is - I just closed out my browser and came back in, and the only one still blue was one with a post about 25 minutes ago. Other forums with activity 30+ minutes ago were grey. Also, if I remember right, I think it's probably cookie-based, and specific to your computer. I can check things at work and the all go grey - then I go home and they're all blue there because I didn't read them there.

The unfortunate part is it doesn't key off whether you actually read the thread or not.
