I would appreciate some input on this photo, please. Is black and white better? Is the photo too busy? Too boring? Reshoot? The lighting used was natural inside without flash. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

(This is for an online photo course I'm taking.)

I'm a huge fan of B&W, yet in this case I have to say I prefer the colour version.

Nicely taken, good crop, the lighting works. I rather like it as is.

I agree, like the colour one myself. Both are very nice.

At the moment I would have to agree and say the color, but maybe if you tweaked the b&w white a little, it's something about the contrast, I think I would prefer the b&w!

Try playing around with levels, curves, and contrast with the b&w!

Thanks for the fast responses. Sure do appreciate it. I was leaning towards the colour. I haven't done anything to these, yet. I will try to tweak the b&w and see what I get. Thanks again.

I prefer the color version to the b&w too this time.

Nice shot anyway!

definitely the color version, love those yellow tints.

I would try to reshoot without the light in front, emphasising the dome, arc and window and the repeating patterns there.

Thanks for the help.
Here's another view.

The light domes surround the perimeter. I do have a couple shots without them but you don't get the feel for the vastness.
The assignment is for five photos that could be displayed in art galleries. Would these work? Any other suggestions? I don't feel like doing flowers.

Marjo, I just started photographing, so I don't know much about it. I prefer the original colourful one, it's wonderful! Although I just started to love B&W photos, I think Natator has right. This shot has simply beautiful colours!
