| UGH - I love my new computer but every since we went to Vista, Firefox times out. I was told to go to about:config in Firefox and change something to true from false and I did that and thought it fixed it but no. Then I also read to set it for proxy under settings for connections and that didn't change anything either. Anyone know of a way to repair the problem? It doesn't matter which site either. |

Get rid of Vista and install XP...

| Try uninstalling Firefox, then re-download and install fresh. I have not had any problems with it on my new laptop that came with VISTA HOME PREMIUM installed. |
