I see Canon finally caught on! Too bad they didn't do that 14 months ago when I jumped ship for Nikon because of the 18-200!

Awesome man, just awesome. If I was stranded with only one lens it would be the same :)

I had three on the list.
70-200 f2.8 IS is my workhorse and favored beast in my stable.
24-70 2.8 was a long and difficult courtship but we're bonded now.
the "crack lens" 50 1.8 is there for emergencies and stealth running for street.

Not listed is my favorite walkaround lens, the 70-200 f4L. Light, sharp and sweet.

I'd love to try the 24-105 IS some day.

The Sigma 30mm 1.4 is what I use for 90% of the photos nowadays, the other 9.9% are with the Nikkor 70-200 2.8 VR.

So basically I could sell all my other lenses because they are used 0.1% of the time

The only reason to use it less would be a move to the Nikon D700, but I don't want to use the Nikkor 50 1.4 becuase it is noisy and slow. Nikon needs to replace that one with with an AF-S version.

The other two favorites that I don't own are the 85 f/1.8 and the 10.5 f/2.8
