| I was uninspired by all 3 of the challenges this week ... and my score is showing it! Unless my score goes up by .4 I'm out after this week ... bummer because I like 'horses' and 'the road less traveled' ... |

Week 5 challenges (Horse(s), Abstract B+W, Road Less Traveled) Posting Remindder:
The first challenge you enter this week is the one that counts, unless you tell me otherwise before rollover. See Rule 3. If you enter Horses but want to use one of the Open challenges for this tourney, you need to post here before Sunday rollover. If you want to use Horses, or you don't enter that challenge, you don't need to do anything!

Thanks for running this side challenge. It provided me a much needed boost to get shots in each week. I believe my Doors score will not come through to next round as I am 0.25 below my average after 110 votes. Good luck the rest of the way all you above average folks. |

I'm away tomorrow morning and not back till Monday late afternoon/evening. Purple is looking good to stay above my average so guess I need to find time to shoot something for week 5.

Never say die (til you're dead, that is). I'll do my best for the honour of the under fives, but a little company would be nice.
ETA I'm about half a point over average now, so the doors are open for me.

OMG!!! My Doors entry is flying high! higher than expected! I am at 6.53 after 124 votes. Never been higher in all my challenges...

I think I may join you...my score is about 0.1 below my average right now and it seems to be making an upswing to where it was after 20 votes. Now I have to go shoot for next week just in case :-) |

With a drop of a little less than .1000 in the last 12 hours I'm still above my average; I hope it remains. I do have a good cushion so I may make it to week 4.

Less than two hours before rollover, and my Mathematics shot just dipped below my average for the first time since voting started. The good news is that I went with my purple shot for this challenge which is still hanging out about .4 above my average. :)
Looking toward the first week 4 rollover, I wish all y'all a bunch of luck! This has been a very inspiring side challenge and I find myself putting forth a lot of effort that I normally wouldn't. (Speaking of. . . I have an idea for the B&W Abstract. . . . I just need to execute it!) |

Yep. Mine had clawed its way over 6, and just got hit with a string of 4s and 5s. Still plenty over my average, though, so my B&W Abstract is already in. :)

This is getting better by the week, not to mention harder. Thanks EstimatedEyes for keeping the BTA running. It's a lot of fun.
But I do often wonder how many weeks it will take till a winner is crowned? I place my bet on the 12th week! |

YAY! I made it... I did have a horse shot but tried a re-edit and just hated it even more and eventually pulled it. So my shot for B&W Abstract will count for this contest this time (as well as Olympics last week)
