Please help me regain my sanity... I would swear that the shot below was originally a DPC entry, wasn't it? My sister-in-law was showing me photos from her cell phone, and this is one that had been sent to her, edited with a caption. I am 99.94% sure this was originally a DPC shot, but my searching skills seem to be lacking. Wasn't this originally from DPC... or am I just nutzo?
I remember reading that the shot was an innocent shot, and that the girl was showing the boy an oddly-placed spider or some such thing, and in reality he wasn't a young pervert :)

I don't know, but it reminded me of a wall hanging in a friend's house a long time ago. It shows a baby girl and a baby boy.
Baby girl (looking in the boy's diaper): Can I touch it?
Baby boy: No! You already broke yours off!

Ahhhhh -- thank you Judi! Ironically, my sister-in-law's name is also Judi... I'll be happy to show her where her cell phone image originated! If you Google the caption in the balloon, you'll find that edited version of this shot has certainly made its rounds through the web!

Well, you rock indeed! I'm curious to know how you were able to find it so quickly? I started going through various galleries to no avail. |

By looking at the type of image it is, I can estimate who would have it in their faves....by the second person I checked....I found it. LOL!

Thanks for the email message about this thread Alan. Yep, this picture has been around the world a few times. The best was when one of my employees in India sent me an email joke with this being one of the images in the message (they had no clue these were my kids of course).
I talked about this with my wife before putting it on DPC a few years ago (knowing this could happen). It's a cute picture, so if it's bringing a smile to someone's face, it's worth it - the world could use a few more smiles, don't ya think. :-)
Thanks again!
-Mark

If you are working as a profiler/analyst for some intelligence agency you are blowing your cover ... |

TinEye reports 271 copies of that image scattered around the net. Some of them have different captions, some of them even translate the caption into different languages.

I couldn't agree more -- it's a priceless, precious shot! I added it to my favorites so I won't have such a hard time locating it in the future :) |
