Interesting story.

"While surveying in Denali National Park we happened to go just outside of the park boundary still far from any roads.
We got to an area known as the Stampede Trail which runs along the Teklanika River for a while. We were looking for raw materials (stone types) when I came upon this 1GB memory card.
We stuck it in Sam's camera to find that it still worked. These are the photos that were on the memory card.

The selection put up has been censored for the safety of whoever the girls might be who may have made some bad decisions.

This is actually turning out to be a project in 'Historical' Archaeology."

That's awesome. Cool that the guy got his pics back. I'm sure he never expected that.

There is a site where people who find lost cameras/cards can post the pictures so that the owner can try and recognize and recover them.

Thats why I write my name and cell# on all my cards. Cool stories and sites.

Have a look at the "Post Secrets" page on the link from GeneralE...its very interesting
