Sooooo I just ordered....

two vivitar 285h
A cactus v2s transmitter
two Cactus v2s receivers
two light stands
Two umbrella mounts

All arriving this friday!!! Wooooooooooooooooooo

no I just have to figure out how the heck to use em!

It really wasn't expensive lol I got all that for about 300ish. (as far as normal gear prices go that's great!!!)

Just follow along with the tutorials on the strobist blog, and you'll learn stuff that applies equally well to packs and heads! It's a great resource!

What's a stobist? :)

Did you order from MPEX? I got an umbrella and stand from there. I love them.

A "stobist" is a "strobist" that is too excited to type correctly! :)

I'm an addicted strobist reader lol. And no I got the impact kit from b&h photo. I have been impressed with it so far! I'm working on modding the transmitter to improve the range this evening.
