there was a photo I came across recently in dpc of a mirror or a plate of glass with water dropletts and magnified in each one was bright colors.

Does anyone remember this - would like to use the idea for my favorite color and am fairly new

thanks

glass? waterdrops? bright colors? Hmmmm, doesn't sound like DPC. Might be somewhere in here though. ;-)

Welcome.

WTF? Can't post search results links?

edit: if it doesn't work, click this and type in "water drops" on the left and click search.

I've done a couple of shots like this. Here is one of mine:

It's pretty simple really, get some water drops on the glass, then suspend it like 6 inches to a foot above your object, really just mess around til it looks good, and then snap away. Mess with lighting until you get what you want. Really quite fun to do. The best way to do it is suspend it with books beneath both ends, and put the object you want in between those.

Good luck,
Ryan
