A few days ago I discovered a talented young photographer in Switzerland, Nadine Müller (no relation to IreneM, I guess, it's a very common name around here). She specializes in cat portraiture.

I thought you might like to check out her galleries: Cat Passion

I encouraged her to join DPC, so get ready for some tough competition in coming challenges. ;-)

(Sorry about the big image, wanted to give a first impression of Nadine's work...)

I was off making breakfast! I'm more of a dog person but I still have a cat. Dogs give you all the attention you want/need, cats will simply blow you off. I gotta balance it right? hehe

I do love animals though, and I think most of the pictures in my favorites are of cats and dogs.
Nadine has some great work. I hope she joins!!

*edit

she has some cute dog pictures too!
*edit edit lol
wow now that i have really really looked at her site, Id really like her to join dpc and her landscapes are STUNNING!

Fair warning: the following may nauseate you, especially if you are male.

What?!!?! If your cat acts this way, he's a snob. My cats are crazy about me. Rich, my black and white, follows me around like a puppy. He constantly tries to get me to play by pretending to run away in front of me, chasing me, rolling around on his back in front of me, etc. If I get up in the middle of the night, he follows me, looking up at me, purring and going, "Mew?" He sleeps on my pillow next to my head. In winter, he sleeps against me under the covers.

Rudy can't stand to be alone, and is always nudging for attention, lying on laps when people are trying to watch a movie or eat dinner, and he's constantly vocalizing.

Your cat is elitist. ;-)

Me? Not now. I had a dog for fourteen years, and loved her like crazy. She died a long time ago. I still have dreams about her.
