I have two years until my son will be in school full-time and I'll be working again...whether its corporate or freelance, I'm not sure yet. In any case, I was considering taking this next two years and setting my sights on obtaining my Professional Photographers Certification through PPA. Does anyone here have theirs? Did you find it to be worth your time, effort and money?

Thanks,
Terri

Hi Terri. Just saw your PM and then noticed this thread so I'll answer here incase the info can help others.

I don't have my certification yet, I'm in the studying for it phase. I do plan to get certification as soon as possible though. There are many discussions about certification on OurPPA.com forums, including the benefits of getting certified and tips on passing. I do think PPA Certified Photographer carrys weight. Not only is it good for your business, but the education is good for your photography.
