Warm Pepsi poured from a height of 15 inches, over ice, straw on cool day, no straw on warm day. Goes best with savory dishes, tomato sauce, garlic, etc. |

Pepsi with cookies
no straw, UNLESS I pour it into a ziploc baggy then I stick a straw in it- either way, super ice cold
(the things I did when I was a kid)
that or i pour it in a plastic cup, freeze it, and eat it like a slushee

is there a reason for the 15 inches? |

Helps remove excess carbonation thereby allowing it to go down smoother and much more refreshing, more like a fountain drink. Also the reason for the Pepsi being warm, it melts the ice slightly diluting the Pepsi for the same reason as above. |

Can? Best is the green glass bottles. I don't know about the rest of the US or the world, but they still produce them in glass bottles in Mexico and ship them to Texas.

with a Moon Pie!
Pepsi, straight out of the old-fashioned 16oz bottle, no ice, no straw, cold cold cold. Best right off the bottling line, about 5 sec after the cap goes on. Waxing nostalgic, here...used to work on a line as a teenager. Good stuff!

And they supposedly still use cane sugar rather than the corn fructose crap. Never tasted the same after the change and scientists say it exacerbates the obesity problem because it doesn't hit the satisfy button in your brain like cane sugar. If you every wonder why the New Coke fiasco occurred, they changed sugar types during that period of time. That way you wouldn't notice the slight change in flavor the corn fructose made.
Edit: Oh yeah, if you didn't figure it out: Coke, with an ounce of 151. Cold, no ice, in a very tall glass.

I don't drink either. I gave up carbonated drinks years ago.

I concur, nothing is better than a slightly slushy coke straight from a glass bottle.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Pepsi with boiled peanuts...of course it is still early over here in the south east...give em time. (yuck by the way) |

I don't drink either. For that matter, it is very rare when I drink anything that is carbonated.
Water...plain, no ice, no fruit (I really hate that slice of lemon eateries put in the glass) and no straw. |

I prefer Coke (I think Pepsi tastes a bit too sweet) in a mug, poured over as many ice cubes as will fit in it and with a bendy-neck straw. Yum.

Diet Mountain Dew in a can for me, put in the freezer for a few minutes to get ice cold. But if I have to choose between Coke and Pepsi, I'd choose Coke... even better, with a splash of Malibu. |

Might as well drink water.
I prefer Coke but it has to be really cold. Almost to the slush point. Feel the burn.

I'll pass. I have no interest in drinking flat watered-down Pepsi.
