Hi,
Where can I find a good HDR tutorial for the Canon EOS 400D. Ive never taken one of these shots before and would love to give it a try.
I searched the tutorials on this webite but couldnt see anything.

try //beforethecoffee.wordpress.com/hdr-post-processing-tutorial/ doesn't really matter what camera you are using
basically from a camera point of view, set your AEB to say 2 stops apart and change the drive to burst mode. Press and hold the shutter and the camera will take 3 shots and pause.
You are best having a tripod but you can sometimes get away with hand held though more often than not you will have some ghosting where the software can't align the 3 images.
You can download a trial of photomatix which will work but leave you a watermark on the image but at least you can try it and see if you like it.

When I use a tripod I'll typically use the timer. If the exposure is long and your tripod isn't very good, pressing the button can move it a bit.
The tutorial posted is excellent for beginners. |
