After July's calculation problem  jdannels brought to my attention an error in the way the I-points was being calculated. I have since spent about 8 hours re-entering everything manually. Then re-entered all the formulas and cross checked the results. I have also put back online all the 2008 months so everyone can view their ranking month-by-month and see their improvement or lack of. You may find your ranking has changed; I'm sorry for that but I had to correct the calculation formulas and by doing so it effected the results from January to now. However there shouldn't be very may ranking changes and the points should not amount to more than a point and as little as a fraction of a point.
Again sorry for the problem but I know now (fingers crossed) that all calculations and ranking are correct. BUT, if you do see anything that don't add up please let me know. I don't mind, I do this for fun and I have no problem going back and checking everything.

Well I for one preferred the old version, dropped from #3 to #5 :(
That said, am glad its sorted now Scott and will try harder in august ;)

Under the old way, I went from 73 to 70th.
Under the revised I went from 52 to 58.
I think I like the revised.

Wow, I somehow missed these threads by a couple of days. Anyway, now that I've found it...
:) :) :) :) :) :) Oh, and did I mention :)
My prediction during voting was for MAK and Ecce Signum to catch me, and well, you guys have caught me, but having moved up one place, I'm still hanging just in front. (I don't want to know what you guys are up to back there!)
I'm still in shock to be there, especially considering the high standard of shots around here! I'm also very happy to be a tie with Larus on monthly points, but thanks to the I-points, I'm way ahead because I'm not as good. :) Hey, yanko even commented that my entry might be Larus. Made my day!

You can view this image [thumb]706761[/thumb] now and view the TOP 3 Scoring Photographer for each month in the details section. Your also welcome to leave a comment if you would like to see more information, find a problem, or anything. I will view each day to make sure I'm up on any changes.
