Errr ... what election was today? You better believe I'll be there in November. I suspect the lines will be even longer than they were for the Democractic primary here.

Jeffery our state had primaries here yesterday, not really a good turn out but I'm hoping the General election will be busy, it better be.

Well....I'm back, but still on vacation 'til Monday. I actually am happy with my Monet-ism on this image since it was grainy, high ISO, dark, and just in general, anathema to a good image. I actually like it this way. The reflections are kinda cool, I think.

I've just been so busy. On top of taking care of my grandmother, I'm now also taking care of my neighbors. Grocery shopping, errands, taking them to doctors. They're both 83. So between my own appointments, my grandmothers appointments, and my neighbors appointments, it's hard to find time to take a picture. LOL! It just amazes me that people with grown children have to rely on the kindness of neighbors because their own children won't take care of them.

Hi all

Kelli, it's astonishing and pitiful how often I hear what you say, about kids not looking after their parents...I didn't move back east until I was sure that 3 of the 5 of us kids would be living in close proximity to my parents.

Now, I need help choosing an entry for Purple, 3 possible shots. Who's up for it? PM by 10 pm please!!

On a side note, I ordered something off of Amazon Thursday night. I didn't know where it was coming from, so picked two day delivery. It shipped Friday, from a town 20 minutes away from me (Lawnside, NJ)!! And did they send it to my house from there? No! They sent it to the middle of Pennsylanvia! So bizarre! It won't arrive at my house until Tuesday! The really funny part is if I had picked standard shipping (which was free) it would have went from the shipper to my house on Friday, but I paid $15 to wait an extra 4 days. ROFL!

Thanks for inspiring me to try something I normally would not do. I tend to get caught up in literal representations of wildlife and rarely allow myself the creative license to do somthing like this.

I've felt strangely compelled to go looking for a heron lately. Not sure why.... (and haven't found one, either.)

I have some very off the wall options for Mathematics. Any volunteers willing to take a look and let me know which, if any, might be slightly less DNMC? :-)
