I don't know if anyone here knows yet, but the most photographed arch in Arches National Park collapsed. It makes me sad because I was going to go last spring, but money said no. I am planning on this spring, but I am still a little sad. does anyone have some pictures of this National Icon to share?

Delicate Arch? That is sad, I found it impressive...

Can't hold back nature, it's so beautiful to witness it.

I wouldn't worry if I were you. Some billionaire casino owner will have one built just like it. The only hick will be the 27 dollars to see it.

The park has over 1000 arches, life will go on - geology happens.

Too bad it's too late for the current challenge.

There was a guy a number of years ago who got some shots of part of an arch, I believe Landscape Arch , collapsing. They have a pictorial display on the trail. Pretty good shots too.

Shame to hear the news. I was lucky to see it in 2006 and snapped a few pics. . Glad no one was under that thing when it came down since the trail runs right by the arch. Arches is a beautiful park and was my favorite on my trip through the southwest. The nearby town of Moab is a really cool town, i would recommend people take a trip there one day if you have the chance.

I'm a little late finding this thread, but I just visited arches last month. When I heard the news about Wall Arch falling down, I was kicking myself because I had hiked within a very short distance of it while we were there, but was running out of time that night. I turned back on the Devil's Garden Trail, having visited Pine Tree Arch and Tunnel Arch.

Here are a few shots I took there, though... what an absolutely incredible place!
